I’ve enjoyed art over the years but have not gotten serious about it until my return from my second deployment to Iraq in 2003. I have served with the United States Army Reserve, United States Navy and the Arizona Army National Guard as a Chaplain, serving with the Navy, the Marines, and the Army. I was activated in support of Operation Desert Storm. I am a veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom (“OIF”) and OIF2. I have a B.A. in History, an M.Div. in Theology, and a Ph.D in Education. I have provided, and currently provide, spiritual care in the military and health care setting for the past 20 years.
